Machine Man By Doctor Sonic!

I’ve stated on numerous occasions that some of my favorite characters in films and comic book tend to be the second-stringers. Take the character you see above for instance, Machine Man is also known as X-51 or Aaron Stack, and was created by the legendary Jack Kirby for 2001: A Space Odyssey #8 back in July of 1977. Machine Man was spun-off into his own series but has never been able to hold a comic on his own for long.

Now that wonderful piece of art you see above is by the talented Doctor Sonic and this is no illustration, the good Doctor works solely in construction paper! Yeah, every bit of that is the result of scissors and construction paper and breathtaking to say the least.

Take a look at this piece of art depicting Boris Karloff’s The Mummy!

Make sure to visit Doctor Sonic’s Tumblr page by following the link up above! A big thanks to Comics Alliance for the heads up.
