I love browsing old Halloween decoration. They make some very ornate and technological one nowadays, but they don’t seem to have the same zazz as the stuff they made pre-1980s. Plus it seems the further you go back, the cooler these things get. Like this amazing 1930s cardboard Halloween lantern. Hard to believe something this ornate was made of something that could be so easily destroyed and even more amazing that it survived all these years.
I think this thing would look pretty swell remade of stained glass and wood….

I LOOVE old Halloween decorations. I don’t collect them (I do have a few pieces here & there), but I have a few price guide books that are full of amazing photos. I never get tired of looking at them.
The art on that lantern is so amazing! They’d be great on t-shirts.
