A Poster for Every Episode of Season 1 of Scooby Doo, Where Are You?

Artist, James Newland, in the interest of improving his basic skills with Photoshop, decided to embark on a noble project. To create a poster design for each episode of season 1 of the classic cartoon Scooby Doo, Where Are You? The only rule he put upon himself is that he limited himself to a maximum of 5 colors per piece. That seemed to be a great idea, because the end result is eye-poppingly retro looking and decidedly Scooby. I would happy pay money to see one of these of these on my wall. The only problem, if they were in print, would be picking just one.

Hmmm, if I had to pick one, it might be Bedlam in the Big Top, but the clown on my wall would probably give me nightmares.

So I am going to have to go with Hassle in the Castle…

Which one is your favorite?

  1. Badwolf says:

Uber cool. These were probably the best episodes, too. Except maybe for “Scooby Doo meets the Harlem Globetrotters.”

  2. Atari Adventure Square says:

I wish all eps of my favorite cartoon shows were given this Poster Appreciation ode.

I kinda like Decoy for its Shaggy presence, though I’d truly be hard pressed to pick just one, really.

And also, I now wanna see a Scooby Doo Meets Harlem Globetrotters poster, in that style.
