James Bond Omnibus 001-004 – Comics Based on the Novels that inspired the Movies

Sometimes you don’t know what your missing out on until you stumble up on it. I am a fan of the James Bond films, but I would not call myself hardcore. So when I saw that they were reprinting James Bond the comic strip, I wanted to check it out. How glad I am now because of it. Titan Books has released 4 Omnibus volumes that are chocked full of great illustrated Bond stories and the art of John McLusky and Yaroslav Horak.

Now here is the weird thing, I do not love all of the Bond films. Some I cannot watch, but seeing them in print form, in lush black and white gave me a new appreciation for the story and might even get me to look at certain movies again. Yes, I am talking about you “Diamonds are Forever”.

So if you are a fan of Bond and need to supplement a home movie marathon, get excited for the newest Bond film or just prefer the comic medium. Take a look at what Titan Books is putting out there and you will might be left wondering why strips like this aren’t making it in the “funny” pages anymore.

The James Bond Omnibus: Volume 001, The James Bond Omnibus: Volume 002, The James Bond Omnibus: Volume 003 and The James Bond Omnibus: Volume 004
