What’s the best way to market Vizio’s new line of computers? Well, one approach would be to compare them to the 28 year old IBM PCjr. Okay, that’s not really what Vizio has done with this commercial. Yet the PCjr monitor makes an appearance at the 32 second mark of this commercial.
Apparently this commercial has been airing for about a month, and I was pretty surprised to see the good old PCjr monitor make an appearance during a football game I was watching. Vizio can rest assured that their new line of computers are probably better than the PCjr in every respect. Well, maybe aside from boot time, which was pretty speedy on the junior. But, I’ll bet the Vizios don’t have the same endearing screeching & beeping disk drive.
