The Biskitts: The Biskitt Who Cried Wolf (1983)

The Biskitts was a cartoon TV series produced by Hanna-Barbera for CBS Television and aired from 1983 until 1984. It was replaced the following year by another group of anthropomorphic animal adventurers, the Shirt Tails, which was replaced by the returning Bisketts show in reruns for the 1985 time slot. After it’s initial run it was purchased by the Armed Forces Network and aired for the children of American servicemen stationed in Asia and Europe. Episodes were available on Cartoon Network’s Boomerang channel but at the moment doesn’t seem to be in the line up. You can also watch two episodes on the excellent Saturday Morning Cartoons: 1980s – Volume 1 set that the Retroist reported on a couple of years back.

Thanks to Kaz Winton over on YouTube you can watch two episodes of the series this morning, “The Biskitt Who Cried Wolf” and “Shecky’s last Laugh”!
