I can’t wait for the monorails to “crisscross metropolitan centers”…apparently our “tomorrow” has yet to be realized as a society. We should all just move to Disneyland where life is good and travel is skyward…although I prefer EPCOT.

BTW, they couldn’t get some sharper scissors for the vice president’s kids?

In Seattle, during the late 90s/early 00s, there was an attempt to expand the monorail line there (a remnant of the 1962 World’s Fair; currently a novelty with exactly two stops) into a citywide transportation system. Sadly, we wound up with boring old light rail instead.

  3. I have been on the Seattle monorail and remembered reading they might expand it. A real shame they didn’t. Nothing in the world like traveling by monorail.
