Retroist Game Reviews: Centipede for the Atari 2600

A review of the trackball classic for the Atari 2600. A solid 4 star game (even with its adorable title screen) that borders on 5 stars.

  1. Another great video review! I have owned several different versions of Centipede, including the original arcade cabinet, and I agree with your assessment of the 2600 version. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely fun and definitely playable.

I never played the 2600 version with a trackball, but I did have the Atari 5200 with a trackball and I agree, it makes it an entirely different game.
