Nat King Cole And Harry Belafonte “Mama Look A Boo-Boo” (1957)

My love for music from the 1940s and 1950s can probably be attributed to my Grandmother putting me to bed with the Mills Brothers and Nat King Cole records. Years later thanks to his appearance on the Muppet Show I would also become a huge fan of the legendary Harry Belafonte, though I had in fact liked at least one of his songs when I was just a pup but I hadn’t realized it was him. I owned a Halloween music album published by Peter Pan Records that contained Belafonte’s song “Mama Look A Boo Boo”.

Thanks to Nightwave2002’s YouTube Channel we can listen to these two wonderful performers sing the song on the Nat King Cole Show from back in 1957.
