Chasing Ghosts on Netflix

You didn’t want to watch Chasing Ghosts on Hulu? Can’t say I blame you. The commercial interruptions get annoying. But now you can watch it commercial free on Netflix. If you like The King of Kong, you ought to give this one a try.

Honestly, I’d watch something for free on hulu long before I’d fork out cash for netflix.

  2. I watched it. I thought it was decent. The pacing was really off for me, but the filmmakers did have some incredible archival footage and nice relationship storylines with the guys.

And anytime Walter Day is on camera, it’s always entertaining.

Yeah, I didn’t think it was spectacular, but I just really liked it for some reason, probably because it documents an age that will never be again.

Any visual record and storytelling of that golden era is pure magic to my eyes.

Yeah, King Of Kong set the bar kinda high in terms of compelling drama, but it kinda tricked you with its editing choices and dubious black and white fact-setting.

I know I’m a sucker for 80s tech-awareness video since I watched those hours of BBS The Documentary and felt as stirred as if it were Lawrence Of Arabia.

What-the-hey, those were *my* sand dunes.
