Mighty Max Toys

Mighty Max was a series of toys that were manufactured by Irwin Toy Limited and Mattel. The original line consisted mainly of “Doom Zones” and “Horror Heads.” Doom Zones were these small playsets with horror themes and featured miniature figurines of menacing creatures and the hero Max. The Horror Heads were smaller-sized playsets, that were shaped like the heads of creatures and also contained miniature figures.

Here is an example of the Doom Zone “Mighty Max Conquers the Palace of Poison”

The toys were later adapted as a TV series (1993-1994) and eventually into a Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis game.
