Friday the 13th’s Camp Crystal Lake Travel Poster

Did you ever wonder what happened to the travel industry in places in movies where brutal mass slayings or other unspeakable acts take place? I had not either, but lucky for us artist, Steve Thomas, is doing the wondering for us. Plus he took it a step further by making travel posters for the places in those movies in hopes that it will pour much needed money into their fictional economies. (I think I have lost track of what is real and what is not.) Oh well, Steve has made posters for Friday the 13th, Deliverance and Fargo.

What makes them even more wonderful? All of them are available as prints through Zazzle. I am seriously considering a Camp Crystal Lake poster.

  1. I dig it. Camp Nobebosco should totally transition into a tourist attraction and capitalize on it’s F13 roots. At least at Halloween! What a realistic walk through that would be!
