Behind the Scenes: King Kong (1933)

A huge thanks to Quint over at Ain’t It Cool News for this beautiful behind the scenes photo from John Ashbrook featuring the tragic last ascent of King Kong from back in 1933.

Quint: “I’m not sure who’s posing Mr. Kong there, but my best guess is it’s one of Willis O’Brien’s assistants. Whoever it is, they’re part of an amazing image.”
