A 999 dollar Christmas gift is quite expensive today, but imagine paying that much in the mid-1980s. Yikes! However, the Tandy 1000 does come with a color monitor, so it is well worth the price.

I love those old computer and video game commercials too. The guy in this commercial looks like Jerry Houser who played one of the Brady Bunch girls’ husbands in one of those old tv shows.
My birthday is coming up, so if you guys wanna chip in and get me a Tandy 1000, I’ll take it :)
Think they are less than a thousand bucks now.
