H.R. Pufnstuf Action Figure

While out doing some DVD shopping this past weekend I ran across this action figure on sale.

The plastic bubble looks a little yellow, so I may actually have to open this one …

  1. I think you do need to open it up, Flack! H.R. deserves to be freed from his plastic stasis chamber and displayed on your mantle. :)

  2. @The Retroist: I picked this guy up at Vintage Stock. It’s a midwest chain of stores that specializes mostly in video games and movies, but also has a large and ever changing supply of toys.

@VicSage: I am working on getting some new shelves up at the new house. Once they are up, you can bet Mr. Pufnstuf will be freed!

Wow, the fact that you found one of the Krofft figures at retail is crazyness. I bought my wife a couple of those when they were first release, 11 YEARS AGO!

Ignore my comment from 27 seconds ago. Just saw Flack’s reply that he got it at Vintage Stock. It all makes sense now. :)

God DAMNIT I wish they had a store in New York City.

  5. Here’s a two year follow up — Mr. Pufnstuf was freed from his blister card and now proudly stands between John Belushi as the Samurai Chef and a Dennis Rodman action figure with interchangeable colored hair pieces.
