Giant Lego Star Destroyer!

As a kid I loved both Star Wars and Legos, so it was only natural that I would try and build Star Wars ships and locations out of Lego. I built a pretty good replica of the Mos Eisley Cantina once, but nothing I ever built was this big or looked this good:

This giant Lego Star Destroyer, built by “Iomedes,” contains just over 43k Lego bricks. According to the builder, no glue or screws were used. This baby is 100% Lego and 100% awesome. You can view additional pictures of the Star Destroyer on Iomedes’ Blogspot page.

I’ll hold back my nerd rage at the fact that this isn’t a classic Star Destroy but one of those ……prequel……………..things….. and instead join with everyone else marveling at the amazing craftsmanship that went into this. I love the fact that it was 100% lego! If he does another one it will have to a Super Star Destroyer to top this one. ;)
