Press The Buttons reporting that Shout Factory is readying to discontinue DVDs of classic Nintendo cartoons (Mario, Zelda, Captain N) and Sonic the Hedgehog. I’ve noticed lately that you have quite a few retro gamers here, and thought they might want a heads-up too. These shows are actually freely available on various sites like Hulu, but I guess if anyone wants to own them on disk, now is the time.
A very useful heads up indeed. Remember while these titles might show up in the future who can tell when, plus as they point out on Press The Buttons, this is a good opportunity to pick up some bargains at Shout! Factory and Amazon.
