Centipede Cabaret Arcade Game

A huge thanks to Rob Boudon from over at the Retroist Image Pool on Flickr for this wonderful pic of a Centipede arcade game he bought and restored. Make sure to also check out those unique decorations in the room!

I recently purchased this Centipede Cabaret Arcade Game. So far, I’ve washed it inside and outside with bleach and soap, removed the overlay, cleaned the glass, polished the wood, applied new side art and most importantly, replaced the incredibly rusted trackball.

Very nice. I would like to hear how Bob hung the marquees on the wall there. I have more than a few, but have been debating for some time the best way to display them.

  2. That’s is awesome. It is my dream to one day have my basement finished with a 70’s/80’s room complete with a Burgertime cabinet.

  3. @thebill1979 If that dream comes true, friend…please take some photos and send ’em to me! :)

@twilitezoner I believe you can contact him through that link, let us know what he says!
