Atari 2600 Review

I recently took a trip south to see the old Atari offices in Sunnyvale and Santa Clara. That made me miss my Atari 2600. So I bought one and did a little review. Here it is:

  1. Nice video and system. If you have the means, you should pick up an Atari 2600 1977 heavy sixer VCS. This is the one that was only made for one year, has six switches and says Sunnyvale, CA on the bottom label. It has a much nicer picture quality, plus it’s more collectible as well.

  2. When I lived in Santa Clara and worked at Yahoo!, I used to pass the old Atari offices every day on the bus. That, and other things, kept me kind of in a constant state of geeking out for at least the first 6 months living out there :)
