Saturday Supercade: Fangface (1978)

Hey, it’s still Saturday, right? That must mean it is more than time for some cartoon viewing! First up today we have the Ruby-Spears Scooby Doo clone, Fangface. Because nothing could get me in front of the television in my youth like this type of narration:

“Every 400 years, a baby werewolf is born into the Fangsworth family, and so when the moon shined on little Sherman Fangsworth, he changed into Fangface, a werewolf!”

This is actually from the second season of Fangface, where Fangpuss was added to the cast. Fangpuss was the infant cousin to Fangface, and this segment of the show was rolled into the The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show in 1979. Famed vocal talent, Frank Welker, played the part of both Fangface and Fangpuss.
