Grady Hendrix is a regular reader of The Retroist and a listener to the podcast, he is also a great writer who has written a bunch content for Slate magazine. Grady has a good handle on the retro and has put together a great piece on Choose Your Own Adventure books over at slate. I know these book definitely had a big effect on me as a kid — so it is something I heartily agree with.
