Atari 2600 Solar Fox Commercial with 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski

I am pretty sure that the woman in this horribly misogynistic commercial for Solar Fox on the Atari 2600 is Jane Krakowski who plays Jenna on the NBC series 30 Rock. If you watch a lot of retro commercials she will spring up from time to time. This has to be my favorite of all here commercial work. She is in Vacation AND an Atari commercial? That’s credibility in my book.

  1. It’s hard to tell if that’s her. It certainly looks like it could be her.

However, I know for a fact that the guy is Mark Arnold who played Mick in Teen Wolf. Great commercial.

  2. Atari Adventure Square says:

Yeah, that’s her. And between being an Atari babe and her funny role on 30 Rock, I may have a new crush.
And thanks PH, I was wondering where I had seen the dude.
Now that I think about it, I was imagining him with facial hair.
    Now I know why.

  3. Spottedfeather says:

That quite obviously not Jane Krakowski. You can tell for sure when she’s up close to the guy. From far away, though, it does look a little like her. But it’s not her.

  4. Yeah, I’m pretty sure that is Jane Krakowski, spottedfeather. I’d be willing to bet my favorite crime fighting gear that is indeed her. Perhaps if Jane would be so kind as to chime in with the answer? :)

  5. Atari Adventure Square says:

I’ll reiterate because I’m certain, and Vic needs to keep his gear to save us from the scourge of the earth (and the game grid).
It’s Krakowski from the same year as Vacation (1983) – 15 years old and all dolled-up and valley-voiced.
You can find other mentions elsewhere and – other than the mentioned facial position which looks unfamiliar indeed – it’s unmistakeable.
But, yeah, if Miss (?) Krakowski can find time to respond, it would be swell.
Or she can PM me anytime.
