Gatorade’s Gator Gum

Back in the early 1980s, the Gatorade people put their genius into snacks and came up with Gator Gum. It was not the most popular gum on the shelves, but amongst fans (like me) it became an obsession. I do not think their is much of a chance that we will see this product again, but I can always dream.

Man, I loved Gator Gum! I had totally forgotten about it until now. Now I am wishing they would bring it back!

I frickin LOVED Gatorgum. Every few years I run into some mention of it online. I remember it getting hard to find, and I’d get so excited when I’d come across it somewhere. Glad to see there were other people as obsessed as I was…

I used to alternate chewinbg HubbaBubba Bubble Gum with Gator Gum. That and Bubblicious Bubble Gum, the Chocolate Mint flavor. No wonder I had so many cavities!

    Anyone remember Marathon Bars?
