McDonalds’ Holiday Huggable Muppet Babies

These plush premiums were one of my favorites. I remember though that the McDonalds in the mall nearest to where I lived never had any Kermits, so I had to ask my Mom to take me to the next nearest McDonalds which was surprisingly distant. I would not be denied Kermit! Wonder where these things are now??

  1. I always thought this was one of the best fast food tie-ins because these were highly collectible and great for Muppets fans…even better that they came during the holidays!

  2. I forgot about these! I had Miss Piggy and maybe Fozzie Bear. I wonder what happened to them.. That was the BEST time for McDonald’s/fast food toys. There were surprisingly high quality items.

My ex-hubby and I, both being Muppet fans, bought these in the 80s. Well, now I have custody of them, and every Christmas they come out to sit on the bookshelf in my living room.
