I was at our local Drive-In when during the intermission this fun little Atari Dig Dug Music Video popped up advertising a new game in the arcades. Though it did take almost a month for it to reach our neck of the woods. The next week when my father and I visited the Drive-In I made sure to bring my portable tape recorder to capture the groovy music. Hey, I was ten at the time. Now many years later I would find this actual trailer on its reel at the movie theater I worked at for so long, it was just hidden away in a filing cabinet along with an Intellivision commercial that I’ll post next week.
I have that film reel in my house under lock and key.

Drive-Ins and arcade games… Those were the days.
Yes they were, RJ, yes they were.
I can clearly remember the smell of the concession stand as I played a game of Starhawk, waiting for the second feature to begin…then when this ad started I ran out of the building to see what it was. That second weekend like I stated I at the very least saw all of the commercial. :)
