When I was a kid, I watched a lot of TV and as my family will tell you I was prone to TV weirdness. Why I did things was often way beyond explanation. I think I just wanted to relate to the people in the TV a little like them. One day my Mother came upon me sitting in the kitchen with my hand in a bowl of Palmolive dish soap. She asked me why I had my hand in it and I said, because the TV told me to. I believe she rolled her eyes and just left the room. I continued to soak and eat my breakfast cereal. Looking down at my hand now, I am not sure if it was the Palmolive or just a life spent indoors in front of machines, but these are some soft hands.
