Hulk Explorer Vehicle is Hulk Tough!

I really wish I had collected the Marvel Mego Superheroes back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. They might not have been canon, but deep down in my kid heart, I always wanted the Hulk to have a vehicle. Now of course they ain’t exactly cheap nowadays, but in mint condition with box, it is hard not to understand why.

  1. Not included in the price is the amount you’ll pay for the Doctor’s visit after you shoot your eye out with that plastic missile. Seriously, this ranks up there with the Centurions line of toys for firepower…I almost lost my front teeth to Jake Rockwell’s cannon.

But on to the subject of the Hulk vehicle, I was lucky enough to have the Captain America Mego figure, still do…but he has suffered grievous bodily harm thanks to my first dog, and I also owned the Captain America Racer, the one with the shield on the front of his car. Good toys and good times!

  2. Morgan says:

FYI, This is a repurposing of assets from Mego’s Micronauts line (which was awesome!), I believe the parts are from several different vehicles. Morgan

  3. Nothing wrong with Micronauts, Morgan, if you have to borrow parts from a toy line then at least you should borrow from one of the best! :)

  4. The comic geek in me has always kept me from liking super-hero vehicles for heroes that don’t have them. This and various Spider-Man vehicles just never made sense.

Now the Super-Mobile is very cool. I’d love to get my hands on that toy from the Super Powers line.
