Bonkers Watch

I vividly remember the short-lived Bonkers candy (covered before on this site), which were among the most powerfully flavored and sweetened and chewy candies every released, sort of a two-layer Starburst. If I still had my wrappers, I’d send away for this marvelous watch: robots and candy. What’s not to like?

    O… M… G…

I had that watch. One of the few goofy things from my childhood that not only I thought was cool, but other kids did as well.

Sure beats the watch I got from “Ice Cream Cones” Cereal.

Whoa awesome find! My brother and I both had those watches (a few of them actually). There was a giant flee market in our town, and one of the vendors was a Japanese family that would import all sorts of amazing gadgets (such as those watches). We got all sorts of things from them from import Transformers (which the kids at school would call ‘fake’ even though they were the actual original versions) all the way to Super Mario 3 for the Famicom (complete with the adapter that let you play it on your NES)
    AWESOME memories!

One of my friends had one of these.

I had the classic Casio calculator watch instead.
