His impersonation of the neo-otyug seems like a reach, but overall he does a pretty good job of capturing the creatures (or as I liked to call them in the early 1980s “my friends”) from the AD&D 1st Edition Monster Manual.

  1. The best part of this video is when the D&D Monster Man asks about the “armor class” and “hit dice” of a creature for clarification. I’m sure having that knowledge influenced the nuances he gave to his performance.
