Tony Dorsett Field Sneakers from Converse

I grew up in Northern NJ, for those who are not aware this is/was NY Giant’s territory. I was never a huge football fan, but I would cheer for my home team if a game was on the TV. What I could never understand were people who grew up in the very same town as me, who rooted for teams like the Dallas Cowboys. We had a very small, but very visible fanbase in my school and boy did they like to talk about Tony Dorsett. TD this and Tony that, I could not even get a word in edgewise about my favorite player, Brad Van Pelt. I am sure all of them dreamed of wearing these shoes in the same way I dreamed about owning the largest smurf collection in the United States. Man, they were so lame…
