With Christmas right around the corner I am sure you are all hoping to get that BB Gun that you put at the top of your list. I still have my steel beauty, the Daisy 840, from when I was a kid (although it has not been fired in over a dozen years). It was given to me on my birthday many moons ago. I am not sure how much I begged and pleaded to get it or what inspired me to want one (it was pre-Christmas story), but I am sure these classic ads contributed.
Fun Fact: Daisy was started in 1882 as Plymouth Iron Windmill Company in Plymouth, Michigan. In 1886 the company started to give BB guns with purchases of windmills. The gun was so popular the company started to sell guns instead of windmills.
