DEVO Performs “Worried Man” as DOVE (the Band of Love) and as DEVO

In concert, Devo sometimes performed as their own opening act, pretending to be a Christian soft-rock group called “Dove (the Band of Love)”, which is an anagram for “Devo”. In this 1980 performance they sing the song “Worried Man”. DEVO adapted the old traditional ‘Worried Man Blues’ for a sequence in Neil Young’s little-seen film, ‘Human Highway’, but usually performed it as DOVE. As you can see below.

But here they are performing it as DEVO in the 1983 “We’re All DEVO” home video compilation.
