Scary Halloween albums must have been much more competitive in the 1970s because according to this ad, you should “be the first in your neighborhood to get this record” so you can “invite your friends over for a Haunting!” and the coupon ain’t just a normal coupon its a RUSH coupon. Crazy. I can just see miles of split levels wordlessly waiting for their Haunting Record from The Gayle House. Every package they get, they tear into wishing and hoping that their assorted creepy sounds have arrived.
But its too late, the Turners received a package from Flushing, NY this morning. All that planning gone to waste. Damn you Turner!!
