DEVO’s “That’s Good” Music Video

This video came from DEVO’s 5th album, 1982’s “Oh, No! It’s Devo”. It matches the style of the other 2 promotional videos they did for the albums release, in that they lacked the narrative of earlier videos and were shot in front of a green screen. If the video does not look familiar, it is probably because DEVO ran into censorship issues on this one. It turns on the sexual imagery in the video (donut and french fry with the woman’s reaction) was too much for broadcasters to handle.

  1. I think that Devo took our Pilgrim costumes from the first grade play (circa 1968) and cut the sleeves off, and wore them for this video.
