Enjoy a Bowl of Delicious Tr…Kix!

Kix: kid tested, mother approved. Kids liked them because if you squinted really hard at a full bowl, you could pretend that they were mega-sugary Trix (back when Trix were just unnaturally colored balls). Moms approved because they sadly had less sugar than your mean grandma’s house. This ad demonstrates that Kix is exactly the kind of cereal a befuddled dad would buy for his kids on the wrongful assumption it would make him cool. Oh, Dad

  1. Okay, Kill Screen, we must do battle. Kix was my favorite cereal when I was a kid! I loved it. This may be because my mother never allowed a sugary cereal to enter our home, so the closest I could get to the sweet stuff was to sneak a few spoons of sugar onto my Kix. I was allowed one teaspoon of sugar, but usually sneaked 3 when my mom wasn’t looking. You might have liked Kix too if your alternatives were Grape Nuts, plain Cheerios, and All Bran. Kix were good to take on-the-go as well…maybe I should put down the Fruit Loops and go get some Kix now.
