“Re-Animator” Getting A 3-D Remake

The H.P. Lovecraft inspired, Stuart Gordon film, “Re-Animator” is getting remade in 3-D. Brian Yuzna, who produced the 1985 classic, and Ray Haboush, who produced “The Last House on the Left” remake, are behind the revival. No word on who will direct or if the super awesome Jeffrey Combs will be asked to return for the Nth time as Herbert West. I would have love to seen a more serious version of the “Re-Animator”, tied more closely to Lovecraft’s original story, but I am guessing with the 3-D (and this producing duo) we are going to get an even messier bloodfest.

Which will be fun as well. I guess.
