I was not sure what to make of the Electronic Rubik’s Cube when I first heard about it, but now that I have seen it in action, I am excited to get my hands on this glowing touchscreen marvel.
As you can see, the cube is touch sensitive. To make it work you just click and slide pieces. It also appears that you can string together turns, which should make for some very interesting speed solving (watch for those videos to come out a week after this is released). The Rubik’s Touch Cube will be released this fall and will retail for about $149.99. With the Rubik 360 coming out this August, 2009 is shaping up to be the “Year of the the Rubik”. I will be buying both to add to my collection. For more information about the Touch Cube, visit their official site.
