How to Build a MAME Cabinet in 24 Hours

I currently don’t have the room for a MAME cabinet in my place, but as soon as I have the room I plan on trying to put one together. To satisfy my desire for one, I spend a lot of time reading up on my future hobby and as time goes on I will share some of the cooler sites I have found.

If you are new to the idea of classic arcade machine emulation for your home or an even old pro, this page on building a MAME cabinet in a day should be a pretty interesting read.

  1. Andy says:

    Hey-Thanks for this.
It’s on my agenda too-But like you it’s a ‘When Space Permits’ thing.
Looking forward to future links/progress reports :)

  2. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to e-mail me. I wouldn’t say I wrote the book on building MAME cabinets, but I did dedicate a chapter to them in my book about collecting arcade games, “Invading Spaces.” I also contributed three MAME-related articles to Chris Kohler’s book “Retro Gaming Hacks”.
