I like your poetry. Don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s not good. Try this one:
Always and Forever: A poem for Leonard and Susan Nimoy
Through life’s heartaches and happiness, through the challenges and success’, we’ve walked hand in hand. Leaning on each other, our love has seen us through.Whatever may come in the years that lay ahead, we will face it together, our hearts joined as one. When death finally comes calling, as it must for us all, weep not, for my love will be with you, always and forever.

hmmm. I really thought his poetry would be better than this. Yes, it is simple, but the truth is, there isn’t anything extraordinary in it. Poetry should move one. Even if it’s simple, there should be that moment of recognition that something in you has been touched that wasn’t touched before: For example: (Paraphrased) Faith is the certainty that–when you are about to step off the abyss into the darkness of the unknown, one of two things will happen: you will be given something solid on which to stand or you will be taught to fly. (author unknown). Nimoy’s poems seem a bit prosaic to me.
