I think I have something here to make your day better. I present for your perusal the artistic talents of Ben Dunn from over on deviantART. Ben is wise enough to realize that the only way to make a Creature From the Black Lagoon illustration better is to add a fight between the classic Universal Monster…and an alligator!
The incredibly talented Real SonkeS or Ivan as he is known on deviantART gives us a rather chilling illustration featuring everyone’s favorite Masked Mallard of Saint Canard…during a time of crisis for the famed hero.
Things are looking grim for Darkwing Duck! Look how he is holding his side, bloody feathers poking between his gloved fingers! Who or what is ablaze behind him as he steadies himself on the nearby trash cans? Yikes! I’m pretty sure the Disney Afternoon wouldn’t have gone for this dark storyline.
You know things are looking grim for Tron when he finds need to call in him some back-up on the Game Grid! Thanks to Ground Zero Ace from over at deviantART we get to see just who the legendary program can depend on.
Check out link above to see classic and modern game characters get the Tron treatment!
Just this weekend I pulled out the Indiana Jones Trilogy (you read that right…trilogy) and I watched Temple of Doom while doing some work. It has put me on a little bit of an Indy kick this week. Last night while browsing, I found this piece, It Aint The Years Honey, It’s The Mileage by Stephen Mooney over on Eclectic Micks.
Great choice of characters, I especially love Mola Ram dominating the background and wielding the Sankara Stones like a boss.
