Goober and the Ghost Chasers Lunchbox

Goober chased me right off with his rusty corners and $45 price tag. Still, it’s not an item you find every day. I’ve been taking my lunch to work off and on in retro lunchboxes for a couple of months now. I have enough different ones where I can go two weeks now without repeating a box. I’d like to add a few more, but they have to be licenses I like (and a bit less expensive). Sorry, Goober.

You may be surprised to learn that Goober and the Ghost Chasers was inspired by Scooby Doo. Actually, if you watch the show’s introduction, you won’t be surprised at all. It’s almost a direct rip off of Scoob and the Gang.

Unlike Scooby-Doo, Goober and the Ghostchasers was about a group of teenagers who solved ghostly mysteries with the help of their talking dog. Wait, that’s exactly like Scooby-Doo. The biggest difference was that in Goober and the Ghostchasers, the leader of the gang’s name is Ted instead of Fred. See? I told you it was different.
