What a great design for a character! I love ALF. I have an autographed photo of him I got in a fan club as a kid, have to dig it up and add it here

ALF kicked butt.I've always liked that wise-cracking alien.I recognize the pic of G.Shumway in the Colonel's uniform from a made for TV movie called Project A.L.F.Strangely,the movie was on ABC instead of NBC and starred some bit actors from the Home Improvement show as the Human protagonists.Miguel Ferrer was the bad scientist who wanted to cut ALF up and Martin Sheen was an officer at the base where they kept ALF.(Area 51?)I'm not sure if Sheen was totally against ALF but I know ALF made him mad by running a Casino Night in his cell and gambling with the guards.He(ALF) also explained(briefly)what happened to the Tanner family.

I believe the autograph refers to an Earthday sort of thing. I think it was a about recycling and being green.

Also, the ALF cartoon was awesome! So funny and creative, so good!

Good eye on Project A.L.F. I was just watching it as part of ALF-a-thon.

The Tanner Family had been relocated to Iceland in the movie, but sadly they do not appear in the film. The DVD has been discontinued, but its pretty easy to pick up a used copy.

I think they actually opted out from doing the movie, since they would only have been in cameo.

I love it when Im flipping through the channels and find something fun and unexpected to watch: Yesterday I watched an hour of ALF! He was taking over for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show.
I noticed in the credits that the music is by a guy named
Alf Clasuen - how weird is that?

I found two Alf children's books at a thrift store and I read them to my two year old son. He loves them. Alf!

Alf Claussen is also the Musical Director for "The Simpsons".I saw him described once as the guy who makes the parody music for them and gets it so close to the original music that they are a hair's breadth away from getting sued.

I loved Alf, but I hated the theme song. I always went to the kitchen during the theme song.
