Don Knotts As The Nervous Weatherman (1950s)

If you were anything like me when growing up when you thought about Don Knotts it was either for his roles as Deputy Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith Show or maybe as Ralph Furley from Three’s Company.

But Don Knotts was certainly already known as being a genuine funny man thanks to appearances as the Nervous Man on the popular Steve Allen show. Check out this clip from said show below, where Knotts hilariously tries to remain calm as a befuddled weatherman.

Now also check out this clip featuring Louis Nye (The Munsters), Tom Poston (Newhart) and Knotts as the Nervous Man.
