Did you ever Gnip Gnop?

I recently found this boxed Gnip Gnop game at a thrift shop and grabbed it up before some other retro toy loving shopper spied it. It is from Parker Brothers and marked 1971. My cousin had this game when we were kids in the 70s. It was one of our favorite games to play and we had many epic battles. Game play is simple but fun. Your object is to get all 3 of your yellow or pink balls on your opponent’s side to win. The balls are launched by tapping the keys on each side. We quickly would go from tapping the keys to slamming the keys violently until one of us would win. I think I will give my cousin a call and challenge her to a game of Gnip Gnop this weekend!

I love retro toys, television, movies and just about anything from the 70s and 80s.I frequent flea markets, thrift shops, garage sales and auctions hoping to nab my next pop culture trophy.
