There Was A Fangface Novelization?!

As many of us who write for the Retroist have mentioned in previous posts, in our youth you had to absolutely make sure you had your Saturday Morning cartoon viewing schedule locked in place.
In 1978 that would mean I would be watching Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! at 8:00am on ABC which was followed by Fangface at 8:30am, and would roll into the Challenge of the Super Friends. I was a pretty big fan of Fangface and can recall many a playground scenario at school where a group of my fellow students would act as Biff, Kim, Puggsy, and Sherman “Fangs” Fangsworth hot on the trail of another mystery.

It wasn’t until this afternoon that I found out that Fangface was popular enough to have a novelization produced by Cinnamon House based on the episode “A Heap of Trouble”.

  1. There was at least two. I found #2 – “A Time Machine Trip to the Pirate’s Ship”, a little while back. Surprised me to find out any existed, too.
