Retro Records: Walt Disney Presents – 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea (1971)

Welcome back to another installment of Retro Records! For you listening and viewing pleasure this go around we present the 1971 storybook and record for Walt Disney’s adaption of Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!

One of my Grandparents bought me a set of these wonderful records when I was very young, I can remember looking forward to a new storybook showing up in the mail, although back then it felt like an eternity had passed before a new one would arrive in my mailbox. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea wasn’t part of my collection however, though I did have some greats like Davy Crockett, the Rescuers, TRON, the Black Hole, and others. The narrator for this one as well as for Davy Crockett is Lois Lane, no really, that was her name!

So please join us on Retro Records and experience the thrilling adventure…and slightly altered…
