Grizzly Adams was a big deal in my house. Everyone in my family loved the show and I am pretty sure both of my sisters at some point had posters of Dan on their walls. In addition to being friends to the animals and rocking a sweet beard, Haggerty was also briefly the spokesman for Nestea Iced Tea.
You would think that a powdered Iced Tea could never be packaged as a “get back to nature” product, but Haggerty is so convincing that you almost expect to find cold running streams of Nestea the next time you are hiking in the Rockies.
Note: I have since gone hiking in the Rockies. If you see a brown stream, it is most certainly NOT Nestea.
