This commercial starts out by telling kids that this railroad runs on magic, but then just a few seconds later reveals that this magic is winding it up. What a letdown!
I spotted the train to the Mickey Town Railroad last month at a flea market. It wasn’t in perfect shape, but the person selling it had really shined it up and I thought it might make a nice shelf piece. After staring at the train for what I imagine was 30 minutes and freaking out the owner, I decided to pass and instead I have been looking at wooden toy trains online.
I have given up on the Disney ones, because they have so many that are just amazingly detailed and would really pop on the shelf. What I would really love is a wooden replica of one of the locomotives of the Disneyland Railroad, but I have yet to find one for sale.
