In the 1980s, Heinz did a bunch of commercial that embraced the slowness of their ketchup as it poured from the bottle (in an age before store available squeeze bottles). In this classic “diner ad”, a too cool for school guy shows everyone just how what a ketchup wizard he is by immediately tipping the bottle over after ordering his burger in a nightmarishly brightly lit diner. Will it make it in time? Will he impress the old couple and the waitress? With his denim jacket and winning smile, you better believe he will.
Is the fry cook in cahoots with him? He has a very knowing smile.
