This Diorama Of The 1966 Batcave…Is Actually A Cake?

“Atomic batteries to power. Turbines to speed.”
“We’re ready to eat!”

What you see above is not a fan-made diorama to express the love of the ’66 Batman TV series’ release on Blu-Ray and DVD a couple of months ago. It is a wonderful and mostly edible creation by Mike’s Amazing Cakes for a client.

It seems that the only edible part of the cake is the cave itself, the Batmobile with miniature Adam West and Burt Ward were donated by the client apparently. Possibly the atomic reactor, Batpoles, and crime detecting computers are edible as well?

I bet the Batcave walls taste like chocolate…glorious cream-filled chocolate. Mmmmmmmm. Justice never tasted so sweet.

A huge thanks to io9 for the heads up on this bit of retro inspired tastiness!
